Tkabber

Please, if you find any bugs, report about it here. And write, if you want to have some features, that do not exist in Tkabber.

Installation requirements:

• You need BWidget and Tcllib. All these libs come with ActiveState Tcl. If you don't have it, then you must find and install these libs (or, e.g. in Debian use 'apt-get install tk tcllib bwidget').
• You need Unicode fonts if you want to see non-english chars. (In screenshots I used font from Debian package unifont).

You can retrieve the latest alpha version via CVS. Do following steps:

• export CVSROOT=:pserver:anonymous@jabberstudio.org:/home/cvs
• cvs login
• Enter empty password
• cvs -z3 co tkabber/tkabber
• And if you want to test some plugins, then do cvs -z3 co tkabber/tkabber-plugins

Additional packets that you can install to support more features:

• TclXML for support of non-pure Tcl XML parsers. Linux-compiled version of TclXML: tclxml-cvs20020729.tar.gz.
• tkXwin for support of auto-away.
• tkTheme for KDE tray support.
• TLS for SSL support.
• Tcl GPGME for GPG support.
